ICA Mens’ & Women’s Varsity Basketball team take 1st in Xiamen Invitation Basketball

The ICA varsity girls’ and boys’ basketball teams were invited to a tournament in Xiamen, China this past weekend. Both teams were extremely happy to finish off their season with an overseas tournament, and it clearly showed in their playing throughout the weekend. The girls went completely undefeated thanks to an incredible effort from all 7 players. Coaches Mr. Arndt and Ms. Fu wanted to give a special acknowledgment to Ting Wei Liao (’19) for her exceptional play in each game. The boys suffered an early loss, but battled back to claim the championship for ICA as well. According to Coach Boll, senior Eric Yu (’18) played phenomenal basketball and really helped give his team the edge. Thanks go out to all the coaches for all of their hard this year.
