Community Philosophy

ICA’s commitment to fostering a strong sense of community among its students is at the heart of its educational philosophy. Regardless of whether they are day students or boarding students, everyone at ICA is encouraged to embrace the school as their second home. This sense of belonging is nurtured through active participation in various aspects of school life. Students are not just passive recipients of education; they are empowered to take an active role in their own learning and personal development. Faculty members serve as mentors and guides, providing support and encouragement to help students navigate their academic journey and pursue their passions. Beyond academics, ICA instills in its students a deep understanding of the importance of community and the responsibility each individual has to contribute positively to it. This ethos is cultivated through interactions in various settings, including classrooms, athletic fields, residence halls, dining halls, and morning assemblies.

The dynamic and vibrant atmosphere at ICA ensures that there is always something happening, whether it’s student clubs, athletic competitions, house competitions, weekend trips, assembly presentations, or community activities or service projects. Students have ample opportunities to engage with their peers, participate in enriching activities, and forge lifelong friendships. The bonds formed at ICA, along with the sense of community and support, remain with students long after they graduate. The experiences shared and the relationships built during their time at ICA become an integral part of their identity, shaping them into responsible global citizens who value collaboration, empathy, and service to others.
