Thanksgiving at ICA

On Thursday, November 23, 2017, Ivy Collegiate Academy celebrated Thanksgiving with a traditional turkey dinner. The festivities began with the Academy Singers singing “Over the river and through the woods”, a Thanksgiving poem written by Lydia Maria Child originally published in 1844.

Following the Academy Singers, Headmaster John Cheska delivered the Headmaster’s Thanksgiving message. A turkey dinner with pumpkin pie was then served by the faculty. When dinner was being served STUGO members handed out turkey grams.
