Ivy Collegiate held its annual Spring Parent’s Day on Saturday, March 18, 2017. Over two hundred parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters and at least two dogs were in attendance.
At the opening general assembly Headmaster John Cheska gave a presentation on ICA’s goal of preparing students with 21st century skills.
The presentation was followed by individual performances by:

Justin Ko ’18-Toreador Song-Individual Vocal
Eddy Wu ’18 and Erica Chong ’18-Roll Over Beethoven-Duet Acting

The ICA Strings-Salut d’Amour by Elgar/Eine Klein Nachtmu by Mozart
Acapella Choirs-Happy by Parrell Wiliam
Academy Singers-Go to Distance by Alan Menken/Singing in the Rain by Nacio Herb Brown
This program ended with ICA’s fight song. Parents then meet with their child’s teachers and joined the student body for lunch.
Following lunch parents could continue to visit with teachers or attend a workshop on college, university admission.
From 2 to 4pm parents were invited to International Day. Each house presented the customs, food, history of a chosen country. The house and countries were:
