NANJING, CHINA – Ivy Collegiate Academy (ICA) has taken the next step in their athletic program by joining the Black Division of the Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS). This will provide ICA varsity student-athletes in volleyball, basketball, and soccer an opportunity to compete against other international schools outside of Taiwan.
ICA will now be competing within three different athletic conferences from the middle school to high levels. At the middle school level, ICA will continue to compete in the Southern China International Schools Athletic Conference (SCISAC), while the high school teams will continue to compete locally in the Taiwan International School Sports Association (TISSA).
This will enable ICA to offer more athletic opportunities to students by creating a boys’ volleyball team in the fall and a boys’ soccer team in the spring. Currently boys’ volleyball only competes in the spring with TISSA.
