Curriculum Overview
ICA curriculum is written with the intention that students will be prepared to successfully complex idea, higher order thinking and eventually successfully complete Advanced Placement (AP) coursework. ICA is one of three schools in Taiwan that offer an AP Capstone Diploma to eligible students. Through high academic rigor and hands-on learning experiences such as laboratory experiments and field trips, ICA students are well equipped to succeed in higher educational institutions post graduation. We aim to prepare students for the next phase of their lives beyond graduation.
We offer a comprehensive Advanced Placement (AP) curriculum designed to challenge and prepare students for success in higher education. The AP program provides rigorous college-level courses across a variety of subjects, allowing students to delve deeply into their areas of interest and earn college credit through successful performance on AP exams. Additionally, we are proud to offer the AP Capstone program, which fosters critical thinking, research, and communication skills through a two-year interdisciplinary course sequence. Through AP Capstone, students engage in collaborative projects, conduct independent research, and develop the skills necessary to thrive in an increasingly complex global landscape. These rigorous academic offerings, combined with our commitment to experiential learning, empower our students to excel academically and become leaders in their fields.
