ICA’s Speech Team Takes 2nd Place in Beijing

ICA’s Speech Team Takes 2nd Place in Beijing
ICA’s speech team traveled to Beijing on Friday, Nov 25. To compete against 8 other international schools. The team took a second place. Individual winners were:
High School Duet Acting:
Elena Huang ’17 and Rich Liang ’18-1st place
Venus Hou ’18 and Jacky Lai ’18-3rd place
Oral Interpretation:
Jacky Lai ’18-2nd place
Also, Hyemin Kim ’19 took 4th place in original oratory and in 2 of 3 public forum speeches, she earned 1st place.
ICA posted a very strong showing against strong international competition. The event was sponsored by Beijing World Youth Academy.
