ICA Takes 1st and 2nd Place in Duet Acting!
ICA’s Speech and Debate Team traveled to Suzhou for an ACAMIS Speech and Debate Tournament. James Lee ’19 and Eddy Wu ’18 won First Place in Duet Acting and Michael Chi ’18 and Alan Lai ’18 placed second.
ICA Track in Beijing!
ICA’s Ichiro Okabe ’17 won second place in the 5000 meter, 800 meter, 400 meter and 200 meter runs at the ACAMIS International Track Meet in Beijing. Yoshitomo Tamura ’17 finish fourth in the shot put while teammate Timothy Sun ’19 finished in the top 10 in the 3000 meter run.
Middle School Boys Win SCISAC Tournament
ICA’s Middle School Boys Basketball Team took first place in the SCISAC Middle School Basketball Tournament in Macau. Jack Hsu ’20 and Steven Huang ’20 were chosen for the Play Hard, Play Fair Award.
First in Fencing!
Torres Lai ’22 placed first in fencing in the recent Fencing Association of Taiwan Association matches for Middle School Student in Kaohsiung. Last year Torres finished second.
Benchmark Science Nights
On Wednesday, May 3 and Thursday, May 4 The ICA Science Department presented benchmark projects in biology on May 3 and Chemistry and Physics on May 4.
Art Show
On Thursday, May 18, The art department held its annual art Exhibition.
Spring Concert
On Saturday afternoon, May 13, ICA’s Acapella Choir, Academy Singers gave an excellent performance of the musical, Sound of Music.
