Advising

Advising Philosophy

At ICA, we prioritize personalized student support through our faculty advisor program. At the beginning of each school year, students are given the opportunity to select a faculty advisor who will serve as a mentor and guide throughout their academic journey. Faculty advisors engage with their advisees on a regular basis, meeting with them every day during the designated lunch period and sharing a meal off campus once a term. This consistent interaction provides ample opportunities for advisors to develop meaningful relationships with their students and gain insight into their academic, social, and personal needs.

Faculty advisors play a pivotal role in assisting students with academic planning, university admissions, and addressing social concerns. They serve as a valuable resource for students, offering guidance and support as they navigate their educational and personal development. In addition, advisors maintain regular communication with their advisees’ teachers and parents, ensuring a collaborative approach to student success. At ICA, we believe that the strong bonds formed between students and their advisors contribute significantly to the overall well-being and success of our student body.
